Many of us have ordered phones that will not show up on 9/25....so I figured I would start a separate thread for us.

Carrier: Verizon
Estimated Delivery Date : Originally 9/30-10/6 but it slipped to 10/6-10/12
Phone: Rose gold 6s Plus 64 gig
Order time: about 1:30am on preorder night

--> with that being said, much better ETA than this time last year for a non-launch day delivery. I happen to have the day off next Friday due to Sunday travel for work. I'm going to try my local AT&T store to locate one and pop by my local Apple store in the afternoon on the off chance that one of the people who reserved the 6S+ there didn't get it for whatever reason... time will tell :p hoping to get ahold of one before 10/12 and probably will be able to as supplies seem much better this year overall.

I have the exact same gameplan, BUT since I'm looking for a 64g rose gold plus my chances are probably pretty slim.... Trying to get my paws on one prior to 9/30 ( that's my sons birthday and I was giving him my current 6 as a bday gift)

I think things are going to go muuuucch smoother this year. I ordered the most popular model from AT&T's website last year and still got mine on 9/26 even though I was slated for 10/2.
This year I ordered from Apple on the idea that there will be far more information on tracking and that it will probably ship a lot sooner than 10/13.

That being said, I do have one for reservation for pick up on 9/25 at my local apple store, but it is the T-mobile version. But I don't plan on going to the apple store this time because I don't want to deal with standing in lines. I know I can stand in the reservation line but I actually want the AT&T Model with the LTE Band 30, and I have a feeling that I won't be able to switch to AT&T model at the time of pick up.

Plus I have changed my address on my AT&T wireless account and placed an order, so it will be delivered to my work address. I'm hoping not on a friday do as I always have fridays off and I'm a back up person in case one of my worker calls in sick day.

But it is possible that mine could get delivered sooner. So I'm not worried.

I'm lucky enough to be able to easily ask for Mondays/Tuesdays off and already have the rest of the week off so I can be home for the delivery. I don't want a $900 smartphone just sitting there waiting to be whisked off to a new home.

Yea that's why I have changed my address on my carrier wireless account to my work address. This way it gets delivered to me. Even if I'm not at work when they deliver it, my coworkers can sign for it. My wife works as well so nobody is home most of the time.
 
I'm working from home as soon as I know what day it is scheduled to arrive, but as mine has already slipped a week....there is no telling. Of course I had to fall in love with the most hard to come by combo......GRRRR

That's not a bad ship date for a today order :) I would figure even the 6s would be crazy-popular enough in rose-gold to slow shipment down.

Just missed the cut off. Dad couldn't make his mind up and the date just slipped to 2-3 weeks when I went to order. I ordered the same phone in silver 50 minutes before and received 9/25 delivery.

I'm confident it'll arrive early though. I assume there are many orders which were cancelled ahead of mine that would bump me up.

I'm pretty sure that might be the case where people managed to reserve one on launch day and cancel the pre-order online. Which bumps up quite a few.

I'm on the 10/14 - 10/21 delivery window and I wouldn't be surprised if I get it a week before that.
