Yep, I ordered it from the apple store app at about 5 minutes after start and had no issues purchasing it. Mine still sitting at preparing for shippment for delivery of 9/19.
No other info, no tracking, not showing up in support page. Also, still shows pending charge on my credit card.

Both of mine are preparing for shipment still.. Billing received in TN.. It acts like the phones are in TN but that's not the case. According to the information below, I wonder if they have even been made yet lol

Based off the few people that posted the results of the serial number showing space grey phones and other posts, I wonder if anyone has seen tracking info on UPS for Gold phones (or even silver). Seems like a majority if not all are space grey which makes me wonder if some big push will happen tonight from somewhere to process all of those phones. I wasn't sure which one of my two had the shipping info until I ran the serial again today.
I am in the same boat, ordered AT&T 6+ 128 on the app, shortly after pre orders started, got a 9/19 delivery date, been sitting in "preparing for shipment" since Saturday Afternoon.
Yes. A 6+ Gold 64 GB for my wife. 6+ Space Grey 64 GB for myself. One is coming from china, one is in PA like yours. Not sure who's phone is coming from where.
Just a note to everyone here who is worrying because there is no tracking info yet: Relax! Apple has never let me down when it came to shipping on the release day. The tracking info can often lag behind, so the Apple website might still say "Processing" while your iPhone is already on the delivery truck. So just stop worrying. If Apple tells you your iPhone will arrive on 19/9, then it will arrive on that date.
I found my tracking number using tracking by reference, it says 0.50 kg, however I didn't find anything with my husband's phone number. I'm not worried though, it should still get here on the 19th.
I completely agree with you. Until my status on Apple changes and says otherwise I expect everything to arrive on Friday. Just seems a little weird with some things this time around. Other people have reported similar circumstances as me where billing initially showed up and then disappeared, or in my case one clears and the other disappears. I guess in the end its fun to try and track things down and make sense of what is going on with little information from them. Funny how much you can find with little to no info from the source!
Wow that's a very good point! Mine is silver and I haven't seen anyone else post anything about a silver one with a tracking #. You can be wrong but it's definitely a possibility. I'm also thinking there were phones in the states already and those ones are the ones without tracking numbers yet since they don't have to travel from china.

Mine is gold 64gb and I found my tracking number, however, couldn't find my husband's space gray 128gb. Mine is coming from China.
I am due to get my 6 on 9/19. Apple site has shipment still pending...
Seems odd that the status has not changed since Friday is only 3 days away, but maybe this is standard for them?

I ordered the 6+ 64G Gold ATT from the apple store app. The phone shows up in my support profile and Iwas able to find the tracking number by reference. iIt still shows preparing for shipping with apple and delivery date of the 19th.
I am trying to decide if i should do a hold and just go pick it up at the UPS.
I have my tracking and serial numbers Gold 64 gb 6. Order still shows pending to ship from apple.
Finally, my card was charged and I have a UPS tracking #, next day air. Mine is holding in Tennessee. One thing to note, it was under my primary apple account phone# and not the number of the line I ordered it under. I'm glad it's UPS, mine comes around 10:00am.

Same here... Ordered around 12:30AM and order is still stuck at 'preparing for shipment' and no charge on my CC either. Nor can I find anything by tracking by reference on UPS/FedEx. Hoping to see something soon.
to those who haven't gotten the official email from apple regarding your iPhone being shipped, I doubt we get anything until the phone actually moves. At least the ones who are already state side (mine is in Tenn.).
