Apple.com preorder thread - iPhone 6/6 Plus

I'll be interested to see what the delivery dates are for those that missed this Friday launch. I ordered at 11 am last Friday and am being told week of 10/13-10/20....be interested to hear from anyone who see their delivery dates in this segment move earlier, I think it'll jump a week based on past launches...

Phone is a 16 6+

Mine finally shows on UPS.....but it's with my google voice number, not either of my cell numbers. Weird. Tried it on a whim...:rolleyes:
 
Placed my order for a 6 Plus 64GB Silver AT&T, been on Preparing for Shipment since Sunday, but nothing on Support Profile or on UPS. Getting a bit anxious now.
 
16G black non-contract iPhone 6 ordered around 9:30 AM ET on the 12th. Still shows

"Preparing for Shipment - Delivers: 9/19 by Standard Shipping" without any tracking information.

I have a short trip to Asian at the end of Sep. Hope the 6 is an unlocked one.

When I go to My Support Profile, I see an iPhone 6 serial number. After clicking to view more information on the device, I noticed the preview image for the phone was no longer an Apple logo, but a gold iPhone 6. I ordered a silver iPhone... Is this just default or?
 
Well the charge went from pending to completely charge today. I better get my phone on Friday if Apple has already gotten their money. I just hate leaving things in UPS's hands. They have failed me before. Not on an iPhone, but on other items.

Don't sweat it. On my profile, my 5s shows as gold, but it's Space Grey. Meh...Apple.....

I ordered a silver and I see a silver. But no serial number. Maybe I'm on the wrong page.I'm on the check your orders page.

Preparing for shipment for iPhone 6 plus, 64gb space gray, Verizon.
No serial number on support page.

Wonder if they are already in PA HUB and you won't see shipping info until Thursday when it transfers to the hub here for delivery....
 
I called to change my shipping address Saturday, but I didn't see the change reflected on my order status on Apple.com until Monday. I used tracking by reference on UPS to see my shipping status, but on UPS it still says it's shipping to my old address.

Has this happened to anyone else?

ups offers a service call ups my choice which is free. You can opt for the my choice premium for 40 or 45 a year i dont recall the exact amount. It gives you tons of options on every package delivered to your home address under the names you provide. You can often get a 2hour delivery with a $5 fee. You can have a package that requires signature be left on you back porch or at a leasing office or even at a neighbors house. You can even have packages delivered to a ups store and lastly you can have packages held for same day will call pickup. My choice premium is what I have. Its the best thing ever when it comes to knowing about when packages arrive and arranging deliveries. I get emails from ups before i even get emails from the places i order with tracking and delivery days. For instance i didnt even check my reference numbers or anything I just received an email from ups that I had a package coming from apple with when it would be delivered and everything. I went ahead and made the request for same day will call pickup. Saves me from spending an extra $5 and i get my wifes phone at 10:30 am after i pick mine up from the apple store.

that's the beauty of having ups + .. you just log in and you can see all the tracking numbers for anything show up in a calendar like view..ups + does this for anything.. if it's shipping via ups and it's going to your house you'll see a tracking number before you get the email from the whatever company you ordered from. Pretty cool actually... That's how a lot of us are getting our tracking #'s ..the 5 I have arriving on the 19th all say preparing to ship (even though they've all shipped and I have tracking #'s for all of them)

you just get more options if you have ups + ..one of those options lets you hold items for pickup instead of getting them delivered..this has nothing to do with apple...it's all ups's site..it's just a feature they offer if you don't want something delivered to your door..some other features they have leaving with a neighbor, leaving at the back door, etc..

Apparently you don't have to be a member. There is a whole thread about this somewhere but On it they said you can contact UPS and they will put it on Will Call for you and you can pick it up on the 19th. I just put mine on will call, but I am a member so I don't know for sure

I used order number minus 2 digits and it is in Mexico City? Anyone else...or am I tracking something else? Phone number doesn't work. Started in China on 9/10. I don't think that's it!

I got a notification from UPS about 30 minutes ago saying that I have a package coming from "APPLE AMR-FG/US NPI" (which would be my iPhone 6 Plus 128GB Space Gray). I subscribe to UPS My Choice (which is free) and they notify me when I have a package on the way. It is being sent via "UPS Next Day Air Saver". Scheduled for delivery this Friday 9-19-2014.

Apple.com however, still says "Preparing for Shipment Delivers: 9/19 by Standard Shipping" when I check my order status.
 
Yay~

Mine's shipping in 3-4 weeks, I think Mid Oct to Early Nov. But it's showing preparing for shipment. :) Yay!!!!! :apple:
