Ok, crazy situation here. iPhone 6, 64gb, Space Gray

  • Ordered via AT&T Friday early AM (mistakenly chose Next 18 when meant to do Next 12)
  • Called AT&T at at 6:30pm to see if I could change that. Was advised it was best if they just cancel the order and I reorder.
  • Rep did some magic clicks, asked me to refresh the AT&T upgrade page, and boom, it reset as eligible to upgrade.
  • AT&T order page showed delivery was now 2 weeks out, while Apple site still showed delivery on 9/19 for my desired config.
  • Ordered phone on Apple site at 7pm.
  • Phone showed up on Apple support and UPS on 9/16 for delivery on 9/19 (from Apple)
  • This morning, got a notificaiton from AT&T that they've shipped a phone via FedEx with tracking info.

So it looks like I'm getting 2 phones. I guess I'll need to return one. Still, it certainly seems like a system glitch that it would have let me order two phones via Next Upgrade for the same line. I'm interested to see what the bill looks like, although to return one within 14 days means I won't get to see a bill before I'd need to give it back.

I could probably sell it on the street for a premium and then pay it off in full and keep the profit. Not really my style though...

I had a similar issue with iPhone 5 pre-orders. When the deliver man arrives, simply refuse to accept the delivery from AT&T. There's no re-stocking fee, it simply cancels and refunds automatically.

Hey Guys. New to the forums. I pre-ordered the T-Mobile 6+ 64GB Space Grey from apple.com

Does anyone that ordered the Tmobile 6+ 64GB from the Apple website have an expected delivery date before October 1st?

I woke up at 2:45am est like most everyone and kept refreshing for 2 and half hours and got into the site right when it finally opened at 5:19am est. But it already had the "7-10 Business Days" right when the site opened up. Just seeing if this has been the case for all Tmobile 6+ 64GB pre-orders.

Thanks for any and all feedback. Can't wait for the phone! :D

I think most that show all that movement info through UPS for some appear to be those that originated here in the USA. I just don't think they kept up with the scans for those originating out of China.

?????

Someone please reassure me... I ordered two phones. One is in my support profile and has tracking, but I can't tell which one. The other, NOTHING. BOTH say delivery 9/19. The other one will show up right in my support profile eventually, right???? I'm so scared my hubby (who could care less) will get his but I won't.

Some Progress

Now On Apple, a Picture of the phone shows up instead of the apple logo,

Also The full info on the phone is available. Previously I would only get what week it was built.

On the tracking end, still stuck on Leaving Alaska since last night.

ORDER TIME: 330 AM EST 09/12
ORDER TYPE: IPHONE 6+ / 64GB / SPACE GRAY
ORDER FROM: IPHONE APPLE STORE APP
CURRENT STATUS: IN TRANSIT
DELIVERY: 9/19

In San Diego and got my shipment notice from UPS MyChoice, not Apple. But like others, mine said it left ZhengZhou, China at 11:00pm on 9/15, and haven't seen any other movement since then.

Apple still lists mine as preparing to ship, and only a small authorization on my card (couple bucks, no where near the charge amount).

same for me and I'm in San Diego too.

I'm one of those people with a Oct 1-6 delivery date estimate. I'm curious if there's anybody with a delivery estimate of next week? Only dates I've seen are either 9/19 or Oct 1-6...

I have the same delivery date i ordered 2 iPhone 6s silver 64GB but it still says processing items

My 6+ 128GB now shows in my list of Applecare warranties and I found my tracking number on UPS.com

It really wouldn't have made a difference if you chose 12 or 18. I did 18 but I'll still be able to get the 6S for upgrade price/renew my next plan.

Hey, thanks for this! That was exactly my wife's recommendation. I'll just do that. Saves me the hassle.

Thanks again!!!

Not exactly though right?

With Next 18, there are 24 payments, so after you've paid 18 (each month, or prepay after 12 so you can upgrade for the 6s), you can trade in and then upgrade. And you've paid 18/24 or 75% of the price of the phone.

With Next 12, there are 18 payments, so after you've paid 12, you can trade and upgrade. And you've paid 12/18 or 66% of the price of the phone.

If that's the case and you want to trade in after 12 months (with either Next 12 or Next 18, you're paying less if you'd just signed up for Next 12.

Am I right here?

Are all the shipments through UPS?

All my phones show up the in my Support Profile, all are 9/19 delivery on the Apple Orders page, but I only have one 0.50 Kg shipment from China showing on UPS.

Yep mines still preparing for shipping with no tracking info.

Apple did tell me it left the warehouse and went to the courier but no info past that.

Credit card charged last Friday, it posted on Monday and my support page has the picture with the serial number and what not.
Wish I at least had an idea where it was :D
