Ok, I feel better now....I called and talked to someone.

Even though it still shows preparing to ship and the card has not been charged they just told me it is in PA ready for delivery tomorrow and that I will get tracking info when it moves from that hub to my local hub.

So uh, last night my UPS showed I have an item being delivered on Friday. It's from the Nashville Warehouse. However, Sprint.com never updated their site. So I contacted Sprint customer service and gave them my tracking # to verify which model was being sent to me (since I ordered two iPhone +). The rep said: "Unfortunately, our system shows that no one phone is being sent to you Friday. And that it will be 4-6 weeks for both".

So huh. Why does UPS have a tracking # for me, and why is it attached to my Sprint account # as the reference? I used the method people were telling me to see if UPS had a tracking (using my account # as the reference).

I wonder if in cases like this, the UPS references that show Friday 9/19 aren't accurate, and will just sit there (as a placer). I guess I'll know tomorrow if it updated whether this Sprint guy is wrong or not.

EDIT: Sprint said their warehouse is in Kentucky, and they don't have one in Nashville. I'm sooo freakin confused. Just because, I don't know why UPS has a tracking # for an item being delivered on Friday with my Sprint account # attached to the reference. Is this sprint rep just out of the loop? Or is this false hope?

This makes me feel better. I really don't want to call, I want to believe that it is really coming when they say it is. But not having any shipping information is making me crazy!

Not to Worry

Past years we tracked our iPhone orders from China, this year it looks like many of our orders were already in a USA hubs "preparing for shipment" My order has shipped via UPS from Ontario, CA and is now on its way to Northern California for delivery tomorrow.

Well, after spending a total of 7 and a half hours on hold this weekend trying to get my shipping address changed, and after being assured that it would be, I get the shipping notice and it's going to the wrong address. They even updated the order on Apple.com to reflect my requested change. Now they are saying the redirect request could take several delivery attempts to kick in and UPS says they have no record of it, so god knows when I'll get it now.

Call UPS and request to hold for pickup. it's free to do and most are reporting that they will be able to pick up as soon as the facility opens on friday. I actually did mine through online chat, so try that if you dont feel like calling.

Looks like SquiPhone beat me to it. :)

Dont believe everything a sprint rep tells you, I have sprint, and was misinformed a few times, just recently I called, because i bought the iphone 6 outright ( bc i just bought my 5s like a month ago) and asked after I get my iphone 6 activated on my account if they can unlock my 5s, he told me no sprint does not unlock their iphones, yet I call the 1800 # and they tell me no problem at all,

Alright, I will just have to wait and see. Curiously enough, it looks like he is right, their warehouse is in Kentucky. But again, the package expected on 9/19 at my place has my Sprint account # attached to it AND it's also the same weight as an iPhone. I have nothing else on order. So this is all really bizarre.

Did everyone's order from Kentucky first? Maybe this is a special case where things got routed differently, due to high demand? Bleh. I guess I'll see tonight or tomorrow (should get an updated on the UPS end of things if it's really being delivered).

Got the 'shipped' mail from apple at 3:09am PDT, package hasnt moved yet - still in 'ready for ups'.

Do you mean did everyone's orders go through KY first? Most if not all will because that is one of UPS's Worldports.

Mine left Harrisburg, PA yesterday and on it's way to Michigan right now. Held for pick-up tomorrow morning :)

phone left harrisburg last night at 12 am, any chance it arrives by evening today. LOL

Yeah that is what I meant. I'm starting to think this isn't my order then. I think, it might be a coincidence and my account # through Sprint must also be used for someone else's reference # for some reason (again maybe through coincidence).

It just looked like it was my order, because it said Delivery by 9/19 and it had the same weight as an iPhone (what was being posted by someone else). The other bizarre thing about my UPS tracking, is that it doesn't show my address as being the location it's being sent to. There is barely any info on it. It just has my Sprint account # as the reference, has the same weight as an iPhone, says it's at a SCC Warehouse, and that it's being set to be delivered by tomorrow.

I'm starting to think I have bad luck, and this is 100% coincidence, and it's some one else's order. There was just enough info that made it seem like it was my iPhone order, when it really wasn't. :(

EDIT: Yep, thinking this is true! I just noticed it's in Oklahoma and it says "Destination Scan". Looks like this is an order for Oklahoma and not California. I have no idea why my Sprint account # was attached to the reference, but lol there you go. I guess that method isn't always reliable.

Severe weather? Radar is clear for the entire state...

The bad weather is more west and south in Texas

Talk about bad timing! Its highly doubtful though the weather holds long enough at this time of year to prevent flights from eventually going out. Most places from that location are within a 2 hour flight away from being at their destination, which means they have till around 3AM to get them out. I've seen the planes land and the package on the truck within 30 minutes before so I wouldn;t be too concerned. Too early for a significant snowstorm or something like that to cause huge delays.

Left Harrisburg PA last night, should definitely be in NY tomorrow :)

6 SG 64gb

PS- Anyone using the pre-sign form that Apple has on their site? I am going to go ahead with that since I am comfortable with leaving the box in my screen door just in case my wife is out.

Really? I had the same initial quote and it has yet to change. You are giving me hope!!!!!!

Edit: Mine is preparing for shipment too!!

I don't think there is a sliver of hope that it will come tomorrow, but Monday sounds likely! I'm more than happy with that.
