So when waiting for packages in the US, do you guys just sit near the door or something? Since it's by UPS and says "by end of day", my friend told me UPS delivers all the way till 10PM. I don't know how I can stand waking up early and watching the door for that long.. I wish there was a indicator of the general drop off time.

Mine JUST left Ontario, California less than an hour ago. Normally when I am going to get something delivered by UPS, I gets to a local hub by 4 or 5. I was hoping it would be delivered before I start work at 9:30, but I guess that won't be happening. Now I hope it gets delivered before 4. I know it's just a phone, but I am anxious and nervous now.
UPS usually has routes they'll follow depending where you guys are relative to the local distributition center. For my they always usually come between 5-6:30 pm. Now granted today might be a buys day for them but if you live towards the end of the route they aren't just going to show up at 10 am all of a sudden
I forgot to ask... Does anyone know how long does it take after delivery does it show either on UPS's website or app?
Out for delivery! I wish I could swing by the apple store in my area this morning, see how many ppl are out there.

Eh, My Choice tells the driver to leave my package on the back porch. That hasn't happened once in a year. They always just leave it at the front door. Its also possible for the shipper to prevent in-route changes, we do it all the time at work.

my neighbor just woke me up with an awesome surprise he's works at the local UPS hub and just went in early found my package and ran it home for me on his break. I live in San Diego and it 330am and he just pounded on my door and yelled UPS AM SERVICE!!!! and shoved it in my face as i quickly opened the door as he laughed and ran off screaming YOU'RE WELCOME FANBOY. I was expecting him to drop it off to me first thing at 8am but 5 hours earlier is awesome. I've kinda been bugging him about this all week so he definitely knew I would be amped. Just fired up my new 6+ and it is amazing to hold now the only problem is i have a double shift 11am-2am today (bartender) and i doubt i can go back to sleep.

Live in NYC. One of mine says out for delivery at 2:48am. The second one says it left Newark at 6:14am. Of course I'm nervous now that they attempted to deliver the first one at some insane hour 5am. Gotta calm down here. Lol
Same thing here, my tracking shows I requested will call and even includes it in the tracking, but it is on a truck;

Good call I'm actually going to bring home a case with me and return the favor of pounding on his door when i get off at 2am later tonight probably even tape on a pair of my season Charger tickets since i know that will stoke him out almost as much as the weekend supply of beer.
This might be my local UPS, but the reason I'm not doing Will Call is because I've tried that before and UPS made me the baloney excuse "they have to try delivering it at least once before they'll do that." I don't know if this is the case for you. It's been the case for me, so I'm not even messing with Will Call and instead have arranged to be here to accept the delivery.

Called UPS he said this is normal and my package should be available after 8:30 am. To 9am. He said they are loading and unloading the trucks. I should see an update around that time according to him. We will see.

This is correct. Often times it'll update an hour or two after saying out for delivery when I hold for will call.
