Perhaps we can start getting ready for delivery as well... By the way... Any of you guys near NJ?
Just got a departure scan from Louisville at 2:46pm. Looking better and better for tomorrow. Can't wait!

I ordered on the 13th and mine is still preparing to ship. You probably have at least a week or two.

Can't believe it, but woke up and my phone was in Pittsburgh and now out for delivery!! Started in Alaska and traveled quickly overnight! yay!
Just "chatted" with a UPS person - I asked why the delivery is moved from today to tomorrow. This is his response:
Adam B: Due to special Apple operating plans, scheduled delivery dates fluctuate on U.S. imports. The date may continue to update until the package enters the U.S. through our KY facility. Once packages are imported into the US, the scheduled delivery date should no longer fluctuate. As soon as we have more information about the delivery it will post to the web site. you may use the "request status updates" link on the tracking page to receive information as it becomes available.
Cindy: So, if I have an import scan at Louisville, then my date of 10/3 delivery should be firm?

We have good news from a poster who had this very same route but with a day of advantage, and he is receiving his phone TODAY. Now we have a confirmation from musham who is to get his phone tomorrow according to th courier.
Anyone else who has the same tracking info...?

Any Chicago people with delivery date of 10/2, now 10/3 see any movement out of Louisville yet?
I have the import scan earlier. But I see a lot of flights have been cancelled into Chicago for the rest of today because of the storms around.
Not sure what that's going to do.
Ah, yeah, I bet all the flight problems in Chicago have had an impact on some of this....

This was a UPS 767 that tried to land during a thunderstorm in Houston back in 1998.
Thanks for the update and noticing I was in that group. I have an unlocked iPhone 6 that I must return by end of day tomorrow if I liked using the 6+ more for a couple of days. I bought the 6 on 9/20 as a no-contract T-mobile and popped my ATT SIM into it, and tomorrow is the 14th day and deadline to return. I knew that I'd get the 6+ by last week or this week since I ordered on 9/12.
Now, thanks to Apple's delivery delay plans I wont have enough time to use both phones side by side and decide whether I will return the 6 or the 6+.
I could still return the 6 by the deadline tomorrow and use my daughter's old 4s until the 6+ arrives (since I gave her my 5s when I got the 6). But then if I don't like the 6+ and return it I'll have to buy another 6 again, and re-install my Zagg protector. I might just keep both phones, use for 10 days, and either sell the unlocked 6 in a private sale or return the 6+ for a refund...
PS - after my CHAT with UPS cust service the screen shows an updated delivery of 10/7/14, which was originally 10/2/14 and back to that at 1AM today.
