Apple.com preorder thread - iPhone 6/6 Plus

Since all of our iPhones are going through Incheon, Korea.

Its going to say that until the packages are physically in their hands. Considering its was Sunday then. You might not see some actual movement till Tuesday
 
Has anyone else's iPhone 6 been relaxing in Incheon for the whole weekend? Mine got there on Friday at 7 PM (I assume Korean time, since it updated at 7 AM my time) and it hasn't moved since. It's "Scheduled for Early Delivery on Wednesday Oct. 8", but I'm concerned they won't meet that date considering all the screw ups they've been having since they started shipping these new iPhones.
 
Does UPS work over the weekend? I usually see the last activity on tracking Friday and nothing again until late Sunday night/early Monday morning. My shipment was picked up Saturday in Zhengzhou and hasn't moved since but I haven't been expecting it to since it's the weekend.

Our phones we're on the same flight to Incheon. I've also been promised an early delivery for the 8th but like you I'm also worried it won't make it. It makes no sense why it hasn't left Korea yet and flown to Alaska. Like there have been I think 1 or 2 flights from Incheon to Anchorage this weekend and I don't understand why our phones weren't on those flights. I'm so done with UPS.

Could you guys please let me know the progress of your phone as it happens? My phone is right behind yours and I am a little concerned cause it hasn't even left China yet.
 
Any movement for October 14-21 estimated delivery?

I haven't even gotten a label! I'm still preparing for shipment
 
I have an origin scan in ZZ and now UPS shows delivery date of the 14th. Dang it! I thought after seeing everyone before me get theirs early that maybe I would too.

I must have been on the same flight, too. Mine has also been stuck in Korea since Friday at 7, and I'm scheduled for early delivery on the 8th.

It took a little while in China, Korea, and maybe Hong Kong. Once it gets to Alaska it will move quickly provided there is no weather delays. Hang in there as I know it is rough waiting. You may want to consider having it held at your local UPS office. This has worked pretty well for some of us.

A couple people on the forum reported waiting all day for a delivery once it got on the final truck. Some of them still didn't get their phones last Friday and Saturday. Thats where holding it at UPS seems to pay off. I don't remember reading that anyone had a problem with pickup at the UPS office.

Good luck and let us know what you think once you get your iPhone...
 
Day 1 in Shipped land. Lots of jostling today, but it doesn't feel like we went very far. There was a funny light we all detected that passed over the pallet a few times, and it feels like we may have moved outside for a while before moving back into the dark. At one point, we all heard a machine voice repeating "Origin Scan...Origin Scan." Excited, I asked Siri where we were. She sighed and said, "Don't get so anxious, child. We're still in Zhengzhou - you won't get home until Friday the 10th."

No movement here. Both phones are still stuck in ZZ, China still with a thursday delivery. If they haven't made any movement at all, do you think they'll still make their 10/09 delivery date?

I think so. Unless there are weather delays. People who's phones were sitting in Korea all weekend expect them to be delivered Wednesday. So line's up about right.

That's what I am thinking of doing. Thanks so much for the encouragement. I am gonna be around after I get my phone for my Mom's order. Just hoping you guys have received your phones by then, but come by and hang here sometime :)
 
I just ordered my iPhone 6+ on last Friday. It's processing. I was really hoping that the 3-4 weeks thing is an overestimate but I guess it really will take that long. Drat!

I wish Apple would have predicted the 6+ would sell so much more than it did. I could have told them this long in advance. Same with the 5S compared to the 5C. A lot of people, at launch, will buy the more expensive model because they assume its better and then over time the people who aren't as tech-conscious will buy whatever is cheaper.

I remember when I ordered my retina macbook pro on the online store, it was HELL! I was checking the shipment tracking page every 10 minutes as hard as I tried not to.

I have the same tracking info as you, also ordered 6+ 64 SG, I haven't seen any movement in tracking since the 10/4 info however, does anyone know how long till it enters Alaska on a flight? UPS is saying early delivery on Thursday, but apple is saying Monday or Tuesday, which should I believe?
