Apple.com preorder thread - iPhone 6/6 Plus

Well my phone landed in anchorage just as I expected. 8 hour flight. Now looking to see when it leaves for Louisville. I'm glad to see its moving somewhere everyday.

My mom ordered the 16 GB Gold 6+ a day before you did, and hers hasn't shipped either. Her delivery date was estimated on 10/28-11/4. Hoping I'll see some movement by next week. Too bad it won't deliver in time for her trip.
 
Mine's in Anchorage right now as well.

Kinda funny that apple pay will launch the same day I should get my iphone 6 if all goes as planned.
 
Pre-ordered 128 Silver 6+ on 9/21 said to deliver 10/21-10/28.

Currently my status says preparing shipment. It's been like that at least all day today if not part of yesterday.

So tired of waiting, especially since my wife has had her 6 since launch day.

Same. Exact. Thing. Here. My fiancé has been enjoying her ip6 for almost a month now while she's making fun of my obsessive order status checks.... #

Odd, and I was on your same flight out of Incheon.....maybe its taking a while for UPS to update :confused:
 
Got my plus today at 4:30 here in Nor Cal. Ordered on 9/18 received 10/16 :)

It's awesome btw. Would never want to go back to a smaller size. Good luck everyone still waiting. It's worth it.
 
So after waiting all day for UPS, expecting they'd arrive right around 5pm, that's usually when they deliver, I decided to call at just before 8 and got the typical runaround.

Literally as I was finishing up with the phone call to UPS in order to arrange for an escalation callback, the incredibly late (and clearly irritated) UPS driver showed up at about 8:01pm.

To give this perspective to those waiting, here's how things played out;

Ordered a 64gb Space Grey 6 Plus at about 6pm EST on September 12th.

Delivery estimate was October 16th - 23rd.

I got stuck in "Preparing for Shipment" around the 28th - 29th of August.

By the 10th of October, I received a "your item has shipped!" Notice but it stagnated and didn't actually depart from China until the 13th of October.

After a terrifying exception on the 14th (I'm shipping into Canada, so it had to go through the import clearance process, seeing "We currently have the package. The receiver requested clearance by a non-UPS broker." was confusing as I didn't remember it from my iPhone 5 preorder) all seemed good.

Today I got the out for delivery notice and I turned into a 12 year old waiting for their best friend to come over, so as one could expect when 7:40 rolled around, I wasn't terribly impressed.

TL;DR: don't expect your phone to ship sooner, even if it shows "preparing for shipment". Most likely, it'll come when it says it will and getting your hopes up when it goes into preparation is folly. I just wish someone had told me that a few weeks back.
 
Mine's in Louisville now.

Does ups ever deliver earlier than their scheduled date or are they usually pretty spot on?
