UPS needs a way for us receivers to override the original shipping method, and pay extra to speed it up. like $30 to speed it up to over night.

They'd make so much more money, but i suppose it could be a confusing hell. but then again, what they already do seems like a confusing hell for us.

I'd easily pay that :p

well maybe not now since it'll be here the day after tomorrow anyways, but i would've paid it last friday. ha.

So i got the "working hard" email on Friday with 10/27-11/3 shipping dates. I'm still processing so i don't think they are going to make that.

I think that email confuses folks. Those are the dates they are going to try and ship by, not a new delivery window.

:mad::mad::mad::mad::mad::mad::mad::mad::mad::mad::mad:

Ordered on 9/30. iPhone 6+ TMobile 64 GB Space Gray from apple.com.

Preparing for shipment since 9/24 morning. So they had Friday, Saturday and Monday in China to ship my phone, but didn't?

Delivery window by Apple: Oct 29-Nov 5.
Same as mine..doubt we be getting it this week

Ugh my iPhone has been in Korea since the 23rd with a scheduled delivery of tomorrow the 28th. Wtf? How does that work?

Yea i understand that those are SHIPPING dates not DELIVERY dates. I agree alot of people confuse it. But what I'm saying is that Im now into that "shipping window" and still processing. I know once i go to "preparing to ship" it will take about 3-5 days before it actually ships. So i don't think they will meet the shipping window. I hope I'm wrong.

It looks like we are on the same pallet, at least we have the same delivery date.

I ordered on 10/02 and it is currently in Incheon, Korea w/ an arrival date of 10/30. This fits my original delivery date of 10/31-11/07...pretty much.

Not necessarily, I went from preparing to ship on Friday night (10PM CST) and then had the tracking number about 3AM this morning. So, a business day. I trust Apple's delivery date over UPS's in this case (usually UPS is spot on). UPS tells me 10/31, but Apple says 11/4...and I bet 11/4 is when it arrives. It's still within the window (10/29-11/5) just at the bottom end of it, sadly.

When did you order?

Then my guess would be:
10/28: Incheon to US
10/29: Louisville to your closest hub
10/30: Out for delivery

That makes sense. It's just frustrating because I've been following these forums for quite some time and no one has ever had to wait until the delivery date Apple gave so I was certain the phone would get here on the commit date ups gave me therefore I scheduled to telework on that date and I can only telework once a week # I will keep you all updated since you all are right behind me

I hear ya, my friend ordered his AT&T Plus from Apple on 9/17 and got a 10/17 anticipated delivery date. Then it shipped early and UPS said it would deliver on 10/2. He teleworked that day and then UPS changed the date to 10/3. He did get it 10/3, but did not work out like he hoped. Still, the lucky bastard got it two weeks before Apple's delivery window. Seems like at some point Apple start sticking to their estimated dates, probably to fulfill orders for other countries.
