Apple.com preorder thread - iPhone 6/6 Plus

Mine is on the same flight, coming to Cedar Rapids. I put in a request to hold for pick up using UPS MyChoice so the delivery date hasn't been updated. I'm not sure how they can get it to Iowa by tomorrow morning either, but we'll see.

I'm in Ames (from CR), and my delivery guy drives up from the DSM hub. I was checking UPS flights from Louisville to DSM, and it looks like they have direct flights, with some flights stopping at the Eastern Iowa airport before continuing to DSM. You probably have a better chance than I do of getting it on time. It all depends on if we actually get our import scans and get on that flight, which happens for quite a few people. Iowa might not be a priority for UPS. The best part is that it looks like our phones almost go exactly over CR on the way to Louisville.

I wanted to know from you and from anyone else on here, if you ordered your phones to the Apple website, or through the AT&T website, or the myatt app..??? I ordered iPhone 6+ 128 GB space gray., on September 19 via AT&T's mobile app. I'm upset you guys that ordered your phone 10+ days after I ordered mine already are getting it today. I'm just hoping to get mine soon.

Ah, I see that now. So, UPS504 it looks like historically arrives in CID at 5AM CST and then in DSM no later than 6:30AM. Totally doable to get it to your delivery guy before he leaves. We just have to hope there are no delays along the way. I see that currently the flight from Anchorage to Louisville is delayed a bit, hopefully that doesn't slip further.

Mine's finally gotten its import scan, along with a message early this morning that it missed a scheduled transfer time. It says I'll get it tomorrow, but after they've pulled off two major ****ups, I'm understandably paranoid still. If it'd leave Louisville (presumably for Dallas), I'd be a little less nervous. I was hoping it'd be on UPS8620, currently in the air, but it appears not to be. Please reassure me I'll have it before this weekend. D=

If it's not, I'm going show up at their headquarters (I'm going to be in that area in about three weeks anyway) and demand a word with their CEO. I'll probably be brutally kicked out by security, but at least I'll have a good story to tell my future children.

LOL... I had the same message and I think we've been on the same pallet since incheon 10/24. I just got a departure scan at 4:05 in Louisville, trying to find out where I'm going next. I'm central coast Cali (SoCal). Are you also in SoCal?

You and I are the same. I believe the scanning process is delayed terribly. Still being hopeful that it'll update to an arrival scan in anchorage in the next few hours.

I know you weren't asking me, but just wanted to add to list. I'm in the same situation as both you all. Mine does have a delivery date of 11/4 but so far last entry via UPS was: Shanghai, China 10/29/2014 11:45 P.M. Arrival Scan

I really hope there's a delay with status and our phones are on UPS81 which is due into Anchorage in about an hour. With any luck maybe we'll get out phones at least one business day early 11/3 as opposed to the original 11/4 delivery date.

Again, sorry to answer your question, but maybe you'd appreciate the fact that we're probably all on the same flight.

I'm really getting nervous. It looks like the flight to Florida has departed and I have no departure scan. I really don't want to wait until next week to get this phone because ups can get their **** together.

Mine left at 4:33. UPS flight leaving Louisville at 4:33 goes to Newark though, so I haven't a damned clue what they're doing. I live in south Louisiana, near Texas. I would've expected them to fly it to Dallas, or maybe Houston, but no flights near that time.

I have that same entry as well. if our delivery date stay the same, im calling ups on monday and request to pick it up at my local ups store on tuesday morning. back to watching more youtube videos on the iphone

Delivery date changed to tomorrow, 10/31

My phone was delayed quite a bit in Korea. Didnt make it to Louisville feom Anchorage until yesterday.
So my delivery daye was postpond one day. New delivery date, tomorrow 10/31. But this time i know ill get it for sure because it is on the plane to Phoenix right now. With arrival this afternoon.
Will be trucked to Tucson this evening and on truck for delievery tomorrow.

What is one more day anyway...

I am on the same boat as you. My phone is on its way from Louisville to Arizona. New delivery date tomorrow 10/31.
At what time is his flight tomorrow? Maybe he will get it before or change the delivery to pick up if you can. That way he can pick it up before he goes to the airport.

The thing is - I'm from and live in Brazil. My fiancee is in Texas visiting his brother and he'll return to Brazil on friday night. If my phone doesn't make it there before he leaves to the aiport, I'll have to wait at least 15 days for a friend of ours to bring it to me on his next trip to Brazil. Shipping it through mail to me is out of the question due to stupid brazilian customs.

And this morning I get this "We've missed the scheduled transfer time. This may cause a delay.".
I'm so angry here!

Ordered Sept 28th, and just got it today October 30th.

I think with the shortage its best to order from the Source, because thats who ATT and the other carriers are going to order through, so just bypass them.

the wait is so worth it.
Now my old iphone 5 feels like a super old clunky mess. Screen is so tiny after using the plus. ha.

I hate to tell you this but i've already gone through all of that with my phone that is currently in Alaska, my phone stayed in China for 3 days, then it wen't to korea for another 2, it doesn't depart unless the information pops up in tracking, I hate to put a damper on your hopes, but my hopes were crushed as I was supposed to have my phone today, as I learned, don't have your hopes up throughout this process
