My order is for in store pick up. The e-mail I received from Apple no longer says processing, just that I will be notified by e-mail when it is available for pick up 9/19. When I select my order number it still says processing on that page. My iPhone is still not listed on Apple support and is still listed on my credit card as a temporary authorization. I fully expect my iPhone 6 to be in the store on 9/19 however. No problems with pre-orders for my iPads in the past.

Via UPS tracking (packagemapping.com) I see my HOME phone number is used as a reference number but there is another 10 digit number that is also being used as a reference number. It is not my Apple order number.

What's the fuss about figuring out your tracking number before Apple sends it to you?
1) It'll get to you on the 19th.
2) You'll get a tracking number before the 19th from Apple.
Why worry about checking your profile, looking that it leaves China now does nothing for you?
I have two 6 64gb coming on the 19th, I find spending more time doing all of this just makes the wait more longer! ;p

My Silver iPhone 6 64GB GSM (AT&T) was added to My Support Profile sometime in the last ~2 hours. Ordered at 9:00 a.m. Central on Friday.

Well, considering there are people who ordered hours after I did are further in the process and I am wondering if changing the address on Friday messed things up, I am checking.

UPS, now says, "A UPS shipping label has been created." I have a tracking number!!!!
I looked it up by reference number. (10 digit phone number)
Origin is: Rialto, CA!!!!
Shoot it could get to my house in two days, by UPS Ground.
Not much to track here. Not like last year. I can tell you one thing, it's got maybe two scans before it's dropped on my front door.

When can we select to have it sent to a UPS store for pickup? I have my choice with UPS (not the premium) and at this point it will not let me make that change. Does that not happen until it actually gets picked up by UPS?
Also you guys that are seeing them being shipped from China. When did you place your orders, and what color and size do you have? It seems like this might factor into where it comes from. I am thinking location might have more to do with time of order. I order 6+ 64GB silver at 3:20am on 9/12.
Also were is everyone looking up there serial number info? I have the SN just don't know where to look to get info about the phone.

I have the same thing (well not home phone number but mobile) along with another reference number and wondered what that references. I did order an Apple leather case but on a completely separate order much later in the day. What is the weight noted for yours? Mine's @ 1.90lbs

you click on reference and use the phone number you used on order to track - good luck!
as far as i know all apple.com uses ups, pls correct me if that changed

The longer delay of update for the launch date phones are likely already in the US, hence shorter delivery time. I prefer getting the iPhone just assembled last week directly from China, but I'll be happy to have one either way.
Mine it's been on "preparing for shipment" since yesterday. i ordered an iphone 6 in black 64 gb on 9/12 @ 3:40AM EST.
totally normal, go to ups and track by using your phone in reference section, it has not showed for all of us yet
my order was at 12:45PST 3:45EST

Anybody knows if UPS/Fedex holds packages back until the release day of 9/19? Can UPS/Fedex, deliver iphone even before the release day?
Exact same model, exact same week, exact same factory.
I haven't been able to get a tracking number yet, either by Apple or the "Track by Reference"
