I'm very happy for my fellow MacRumors members that live in the Rhode Island area. Know that they have been waiting for quite a while. Providence is an up and coming city.

That mall looks really well designed to fit in with its environment.

I like iit is over the river, and built into the street scape...unlike most suburban malls with seas of asphalt.

IT'S ABOUT DAMNED TIME!!
Now I won't have to go all the way to Boston ($11 for train, or 1/4 tank of gas + parking) to see the newest stuff. The CompUSA in N. Attleboro lags hugely behind the retail stores, their first Mac mini was made of cardboard and duct tape.

Apple has now officially put Providence Place in their store line up.
