Apple Composite AV Cable and iPhone 5

Is it possible to use the Apple Composite AV Cable with the iPhone 5. I know it wont plug in directly obviously. But will it work with something the Lightning to 30-pin Adapter?

I have the Apple Composite AV Cable and I used it with my iPhone 4 on trips, but now that I have the iPhone 5 I wonder if I should get rid of it. Its been sitting around wasted for a year.

Supports analog audio output, USB audio, as well as syncing and charging. Video output not supported.

Same Problem

Same problem ... I annot believe that nobody thought about some kind of gadget to make it work with new apple devices.
Could someone help (please don't repeat obvious remarks as Takeshi's...)😡
