I notice a lot of web design companies use images of apple computers in their websites to display what their work would look like on a computer.

    http://www.colorz.fr/#!/en/works/madmoizelle/

    for example.

Does anyone know where they get these images?

dejo is probably right, although keep in mind that the way it was used on that page may not be legal. I don't believe Apple allows modification of their product images, such as placing a different image on the screen, and since they own the copyright, the site that you linked to may be in violation of that copyright. Of course, I don't know that 100% for certain, as I'm only familiar with Apple's guidelines for resellers.

    Apple images

Apple used to have a "Press" section on their website when journalists, retails et al could download high quality official images of Apple products.

I haven't looked for ages, but would bet that they're still up there...somewhere.

That's wht you always see identical images of Apple products on websites, catalogues ads. etc.

    Just seen Dejo's posting....sorry!

I think if you're trying to show what your work will look like on apple products, there are a lot of great graphical resources for PSD files with editable layers that look great and make it easier to shoehorn in images of your work without messing up the rest of the image.

Premium Pixels, for example, is a great resource for these. There are numerous others a quick Google away.
