interesting, mine's been doing well—though I do wish for the same, and have been for…years. (see: one of my most top-voted comments of all time, wishing for the ever-forlorn "Snow Leopard year.")

I recall sometime ago reading a horror story on this very forum about someone's MBP battery life, and how they intuited that the culprit for its degeneration was keeping the computer plugged in all the time. that scared me into unplugging (is that the right word for MagSafe? 😂) my new MBP every time the light turned green, given that I had made the same mistake with my early 2015.

this is all to say I do the same with my 14PM, and battery life's been kickin pretty good. I obviously don't know your charging habits (I do know you're tech-savvy though!), just putting this out there in case it might be helpful. ☺️
 
Taking to a client on phone. For some crazy reason Siri starts a screen recording. After all Siri has a habit of interrupting. To the client, one moment please. Hey Siri, stop screen recording. Siri, I found this on the web. Stop the damn screen recording. To the client, can I call you right back. A great SNL skit.

I simply quit the app, and works afterwards. Still, buggy. Like many things in iOS16.

What would other people think if you use the Pride wallpaper if you are straight? Well, they might think that you are a supportive ally, that you have a great sense of style, or that you are just a fan of rainbows. Or they might think that you are secretly gay, or that you are trying to be trendy, or that you are colorblind. But does it really matter what they think? The only thing that matters is what you think. And if you think that the Pride wallpaper is awesome, then go ahead and use it. It's your phone, your choice, and your expression of yourself.

I agree completely which is why I’m a bit disappointed in this years’ designs.
