They confirmed during the keynote that preorders start on 9/14 but anyone have any ifno on what time? I know it may not be available yet but figure we can at least start the discussion/speculation. Sounds like I may need to set my alarm clock to make a purchase at 3 am EST (if it's like last years preorders at 12 am PST)

First it is 6AM PST. Secondly, 12AM PST would be 9AM EST.

A couple of threads below yours there was a guy who just got off the phone with apple, sounds like it will be Midnight Pacific time.

Do you know how Verizon did preorders last year? Apple.com doesn't let you order 2 phones at 1 time and I'm trying to sign up both my wife and I to the a share everything plan.

No, sorry, I had a stupid Droid X at this point last year, then bought an iPhone 4 from ebay shortly after because I couldn't stand the damn Droid.

Check the front page of Macrumors. Apple has confirmed they will start at 12:01 am pacific, 3:01 am eastern.

Lady didn't really answer my question but apparently it was answered in the post just above mine.
