You realize no one cares what you do right?
I still have devices on 5 different USB port standards that I use regularly. My Apple device ecosystem is hardly contributing to my cable woes.Looking forward to USB-C, but it doesn’t seem like I’ll ever be able to have my dream of USB-C everything. Right now, my iPhone, AirPods Pro, and AirPods Max are all still lightning. My Apple Watch has its own charger. I still have USB-A to lightning chargers too. Trying to keep organized:
is a messy, annoying [first world] nightmare.
- USB-C to USB-C
- USB-C to Lightning
- USB-C to Apple Watch charger
- USB-A to Lightning
and m2 iPadApple, please make all future USB-C cords braided like the ones that came with the 24" iMac.
Why not just use MagSafe or Qi for the iPhone and AirPods Pro?Looking forward to USB-C, but it doesn’t seem like I’ll ever be able to have my dream of USB-C everything. Such a sad day for Apple, kowtowing to EU government tyranny. What's next?
Why not just use MagSafe or Qi for the iPhone and AirPods Pro?
Theyd actually earn respect if they just admitted they should have done it sooner.
They won't though, theyre greed addicted scumbags with no integrity.
This isn’t true. Apple still sells the 9th gen iPad, which is lightning. All iPads that Apple sells now feature a USB-C port, in fact, so the only iOS devices that still use Lightning are the iPhones.
They CAN'T be as durable! Thats why lighting is a MUCH better port for a portable device. A ten buck cable failure or a 500 dollar port replacement. The choice is yours!I just hope they can make the usb-c port as durable as the lightning port.
Probably because the greedy CEO Tim Cook wanted to keep on milking that MFi money. Had it not been for the EU forcing Apple to adopt USB-C, Cook would've continued Lightning indefinitely, leaving users stuck with USB 2.0 wired data transfer rates. That's precisely what he did with the iPhone 14:Early on in the iPhone 15 development process, Apple created a version that included a Lightning port, according to Apple leaker Unknownz21.
Wow are you a miserable person. Judging by your comment history you must be a blast at parties. You realize no one cares what you do right?

Oh no. Dear God, save us!If Apple doesn't get rid of the lightning port. Get yourself ready for the struggle. We will be coming across this. 👇

This is the issue. I doubt it can be done.I just hope they can make the usb-c port as durable as the lightning port.
