Did those apply to iPods?

Didn't the Back-toSchool promo and iPods used to be connected more (than now), I think the education sale used to be a computer discount and a free iPod (and a free $100 printer too, right?).

But the last few years I think it was a free $100 iTunes gift card for MacBooks and $50 gift card with iPads (and iPhones). Last year, I think they might have just been Apple Gift cards, not just iTunes (either way to me it's money that I'll eventually give to Apple as physical product or digital purchases).

"instock opportunities"? Shouldn't that read, "instock challenges/issue/problems", or am I reading it wrong?

An iPad Air 3 wouldn't be a bad announcement right now.

Think about it, if they are releasing a larger iPad, why release both at the same time and confuse consumers with choices? Do the iPad Air 3 now, get people to buy it AND then have them also buy the large iPad when it comes out later...

Between the Air, Air 2, mini 2, mini 3 and upcoming rumored Pro, plus upcoming new models in the fall, the category is getting out of hand. They really need to pare down the iPad line to just a couple of competitively priced models. Feels a bit like the Apple of the 90's before Jobs came back with all the color and capacity options.

I can assure you that won't happen. I'm not convinced the ipad pro will come this year. I could see a March 2016 event for that.

I'd imagine Apple would add wifi to the nano for Apple music and maybe Bluetooth to the shuffle. How the Apple music interface would work on a nano I have no clue.
Apple needs to design a pair of in ear headphones that are Bluetooth and has internal storage to replace the shuffle. Makes sense. Beats already has Bluetooth in ear headphones but no pc interface or internal storage.

It's a shame they are constraining the Mini 2. A better iPad than the Mini 3 as the Mini 3 is a ripoff as the only difference is Touch ID and as nice as Touch ID is to some (I don't even use it on my iPhone 6), it's not worth $100.

The iPad Air 1 is a great tablet too but there is a noticeable difference between Air 1 and Air 2. Not so with the Mini 2 and Mini 3.

Except that the iPad Mini 3 may come down to the iPad Mini 2's price. So Apple simply stops charging a premium for Touch ID and any other small adjustments made in the 3.

Apple should never have brought out the rip-off iPad Mini 3.

Any sane person buys the Mini 2. If Apple reduce the price of the 3 to that of the 2, it is only what they should have done a year ago.

Last rumor before possible new iPods tomorrow? We'll see in about 12 hours!

They already cut the iPad mini 1, now the mini 2 and the Air 1... If the iPhone 5c and iPod Touch end up getting the guts from the iPhone 5s this year, that would bring the entire iOS lineup to 64-bit with Touch ID.

"instock opportunities"? Shouldn't that read, "instock challenges/issue/problems", or am I reading it wrong?

I worked at Target as a Team Leader for many many years. "In stocks" is an actual team of employees in all the stores that daily go around the entire store and check inventory levels and flex other relevant items in empty spots that won't be replenished soon. Basically their job is to make every inch of the store look full and in stock, hence why it's called the "in stocks" team. Because of this Target would call in an "opportunity" for the intocks team to make things look better/full.its general Target speak (when you start employment they actually give you a dictionary of Target terms because they have so much of their own lingo). I wouldn't expect anyone outside of the Target Universe to understand what exactly they were meaning fully.

Am I the only one here who'd love to see the iPad Air 3 with an iPhone 6 design? (seamless, continous curve).
I like the current design. I personally miss the shiny metal edge on the 5s. The glass on the iPhone 6 is shiny on the curves so that does help. But really, I'll buy whatever they put out so not sure why I'm even saying this.
