As I understand it HBOGo (on any platform, not just iOS/AppleTV) requires a cable subscription, hence the $80+ / month. I want HBO for $15 or so per month without paying anything to Comcast/Time Warner. Steve Jobs could make this happen.

Yes, of course, the content providers love arbitrarily set prices by by content consumers.
 
An Apple TV gaming console

This HAS to be the natural progression of technology and 64bit computing!! Imagine the next Apple TV iteration with a 64-bit processor slicing through 1080p or 4K resolution 3D games, with a Kinect-like user interface and Siri to navigate through the UI. Seriously, the technology is there!!! Jonny Ive are you listening? If you do this I want a slice :)

Actually, he wouldn't. HBO and cable providers hold far more leverage than the music industry did.
