Nokia is struggling along in recent years. Apple could buy them and inherit their mapping solution, as well as a new arsenal of patents.

What say you?

Fact is, is that Google has perfected their maps over the last 7 years and it continues to improve. No other company can compare and no matter what or whom Apple buys, it will take them years to catch up.

Nokia own Navteq... it would probably be easier to buy Navteq than Nokia.

Except... Nokia must want to sell the mapping business... money doesn't get you everything you want - which is a common misconception in these forums.
