did you pay with a credit/debit card? Apple has all of these stored on file. When I traded my 4gb iPhone in for an 8gb, I told them I might not have the receipt, they asked me how I paid, and since I'm not Randy Moss and don't use "straight cash homie" they were able to help me out and pulled it right up. I don't think that will be the problem. And now I have the new receipt. So I'm good.

Yes, I used a credit card at a local AT&T store.
Hope they'll make the process easy for us that lost a 3 month old receipt

i was freaking out cz i couldnt remember where i put the receipt cz i was worried i would need it but me being so intelligent after i purchased it on launch day i put the receipt in the iphone box sitting on my desk

lol im excited i might wait to get leopard or i might fall to temptation and buy a new 8gb nano if u can explain the logic behind wanting a new nano and having an 8gb iphone please help me
