Apple Customer support rocks :-)

    Had one of the best experiences of how to look after your customers today...

    Recently the back light on my 27" iMac started flickering and eventually reached a point that it'll cut out completely at random intervals. I didn't take out Apple Care when I purchased the machine (lesson learned) and the machine is 13.5 months old.

    Took it to the Apple store today and they are replacing the back light and LCD screen free of charge. Total saving £514.

    No fuss, no problems just "don't worry we'll sort it"

    So many companies could learn a lot from Apples customer service.
