Oh come on, there are a ton of reasons why a DJ sourcing from iTMS is problematic, it comes down to professional standards.

And I was in no way hinting that a DJ should pirate.

I've been buying music off iTunes since the debut of iTunes and I've never had someone come up to me and say, "Could you play some stuff that wasn't downloaded from iTunes? Cuz everyone on the dance floor can totally tell you're using iTunes music."

I don't feel the need to buy a full CD just to have a 16bit file. It would be nice, yes, but I almost never buy an entire CD, usually just a few tracks off each album.
