I think I have a dead pixel in the center of my screen and I just noticed it today. It is a green dot that never goes away so I'm assuming its a pixel that is out. Correct me if i'm wrong.

My question is... how does apple normally handle such a problem? Do they swap out the computer on the spot or send in my computer for repairs? I'm in the middle of a semester at law school so I can't afford to be without my computer for more than a day.

I bought the computer at the beginning of June so it is still under warranty.

Thanks for your help!

They send it in for repairs, which takes about a week. Maybe you can try and convince them to exchange it or possibly give you a loaner (not sure if Apple would ever do that) though.
