Apple designed sandals?

Looks like Apple iPhone 5C's colorful design has influenced some sandal designers...

I think Marc Newson was the inspiration for 5C cases. He's one of Jony Ive's best friends.

The cases wouldn't be bad if they had accounted for the logo/name on the back. 😱 Interestingly I was at Target over the past weekend and the 5C cases were on an end cap. I saw several young kids point to them asking their parents if they could get one.
