Since upgrading to the latest public betas on my MacBook Pro, MacBook Air, Apple Watch, and iPhone 16 Pro Max, the devices are no longer aware that a text message has already been read.

For example, I'll get a text message from John on my phone, open it and reply. I’ll open my MacBook Air at some point at a later time and immediately get a a notification that I have a new message (the same one) from John. The same problem occurs if it’s my watch.

The Messages app is using iCloud and I’ve never had a problem before. Anyone know a fix?

Thank you,
Michael
