Hello,
I was snooping around the Christmas tree when I noticed a new box and would like to check if it's the new MacBook Pro. :D
It would be great if anyone could give me the dimensions of the new 15" Unibody Box - not the pretty white one - but the brown box that the white one ships in when you order it online.

Gosh, I could help you...The shipping box is sitting at the foot of my bed still, and the tape measurer is just over on the dresser...But I'm all about the torture-I mean anticipation of waiting for Christmas Day!

If someone else wants to give it away they're welcome to. You'll have none of that from me! :D

As a fellow present guesser for many years myself I'm going to help the OP out.

Measurements are 18 1/2 x 14 1/2 x 5 1/2.

That's the brown box measurement.

Here's a photo of mine under the tree...only three weeks to go!

Why not just open it and see?

Not like they are going to return it if you open it early.

(Yea, none of that made sense at all...it's 1:30am here and I'm getting tired, a really useful product would be a keyboard that shuts off when it senses stupid stuff being typed late at night, such as the drunken email or IM...and occasional forum post.)

I haven't weighed mine and I don't own a scale but UPS tracking listed the package at 13 pounds
 
I thought Santa dropped round on the night of the 24th.

Must be busy this year delivering early ;)
 
Imagine if it isn't a mac but infact a box for off new socks or something. Keep us informed tho :)
