    Hello,
I was snooping around the Christmas tree when I noticed a new box and would like to check if it's the new MacBook Pro. :D
It would be great if anyone could give me the dimensions of the new 15" Unibody Box - not the pretty white one - but the brown box that the white one ships in when you order it online.
    Thanks.

Have you been good this year? I'm not sure we should help you do that. ;)

Gosh, I could help you...The shipping box is sitting at the foot of my bed still, and the tape measurer is just over on the dresser...But I'm all about the torture-I mean anticipation of waiting for Christmas Day!

If someone else wants to give it away they're welcome to. You'll have none of that from me! :D

    Merry X-mas. ;)

As a fellow present guesser for many years myself I'm going to help the OP out.

    Measurements are 18 1/2 x 14 1/2 x 5 1/2.

    That's the brown box measurement.

Here's a photo of mine under the tree...only three weeks to go!

It's really a refurbed iPod Shuffle and a Mini Display Port adapter wrapped in a set of new hankies and some new socks in a similar-sized box.

Why not just open it and see?

Not like they are going to return it if you open it early.

    The more you know...

Why not weigh YOURS and ask if that is correct or not?

NEW from Apple: Holographic iHankies! Hook your iPod** up to your hankies and see your albums appear in front of you...

**Only works with iPod Shuffle, therefore whats the use of this product? Wait, we're Apple and can charge Touch users for updates and take away matte screens, heh...

(Yea, none of that made sense at all...it's 1:30am here and I'm getting tired, a really useful product would be a keyboard that shuts off when it senses stupid stuff being typed late at night, such as the drunken email or IM...and occasional forum post.)

Back to the thread, according to amazon between 10 and 20 pounds.
    "Product Details

    * Product Dimensions: 20 pounds
    * Shipping Weight: 9.4 pounds (View shipping rates and policies)"

    Real helpful huh?:D

Hope it's a MBP in any case! Merry Christmas all...

It's around 4.7kg, or 10.3lbs, according to Fedex.
