Apple Discussion Forums

Is Mac Rumors the biggest Apple discussion forum online? I just stumbled across this place about a year ago and have kind of assumed it's the biggest one on the net haha. As a side question, are discussion forums still the most popular place online to discussion issues related to a specific topic? Or have Facebook user groups taken over that role?

Who cares? People who want to use facebook use facebook. People who want to use a forum use a forum. As long as whatever method they've chosen works for them, it doesn't matter where they're getting the information.

Facebook is unwieldy for actually discussing things. It's great for sharing photos, organizing events, and making contact with people who share your interests but it doesn't work well for nuanced or detailed conversations.

I come here not because its the largest (is it?) but because I enjoy the dialogs, and threads in the various forums.
