How are they sheltering money overseas? When they sell a product in a foreign country (they do that a lot) they receive the money in that country. A lot of that money they keep there. You are implying they are somehow moving money into foreign countries, which is not at all the truth.Yes, “there it is.” I don’t believe it’s virtuous for corporations who shelter money overseas to donate millions of dollars and act like it’s a big deal when they could EASILY — EASILY — donate what, a billion? Billions?
This is the equivalent of me, on my mid-5 figure salary, donating $2.40. (Apple has $245b in CASH.)
