I have a couple pairs of Skullcandy Fix earbuds and I like them a lot. I don't tend to like in-ear ones because they always feel uncomfortable, and I have a problem with most buds because they fall out so easily. The Skullcandy Fix ones stay put even when I go jogging, and they sound pretty decent. Plus they have the mic, so they work well with my phone. Not too pricey, either.

$79 is what they charge for the buds with remote and mic. Just send yours back and you won't have any problems.

Replace them, then sell them on ebay, use that to buy something better. Avoid Skullcandy, while they look nice and some sound ok, the build quality is horrible.

Klipsch is a good brand. Checkout headphones.com for reviews. But again, sound is subjective. I have heard $200 ear buds that got stellar reviews and though these sound like garbage. I have also not found a better ear bud for less than $20 that sounds better than the Sony MDR-E828LP.

Try Dre Beats - Tour HD with ControlTalk In-Ear. (Made by Monster)

You will hear on both sides that this sucks to or it's great. I think it's great. I have had it for almost a year and I have had no problems. Sounds come out well, as do the bass. The earbuds form an extremely tight fit into your ear that pretty much isolates you. Not totally, but significantly. I don't think Bose can do that as it is over the ear. It comes with a lot of "moldings" for your ears so you can achieve it, too. Also, I've had Bose and I have Bose products but when it comes to earphones, I think the Dre Beats are better. But the decision is yours to make.

That's for the page that's setup by Monster. Other one is third party and hard to trust due to many fakes.

I had the original in-ear beats when they first came out, and I was very unimpressed. Sound quality was decent, but decent doesn't cut it for $150 headphones. The bass was way too prevalent and mids were practically nonexistent. Quality over all sucked too, like comparable to Apple's $30 earbuds.

Since then I've always used the Apple earbuds. They suck, but I honestly can't see spending ~$100 for in-ear headphones. The sound is never as good as similarly priced on-ear or around-ear headphones. That's just me though.

I can't speak for their in-ear headphones, but I've owned a pair of Sennheiser on-ear headphones for a few years now, and despite all the yanking and running over the cord with my desk chair, they still function 100%. I am astonished by how such a thin cord could survive such abuse TBH.

If you want non-isolating buds (like the apple buds) get the bose IE3, they rest in the upper ear, not inside of them. I, however, recommend them, for they offer crazy good base... especially Klipsch S4i's...

The agitation of traveling to Apple, and aces up a new pair, even if they are alone £20ish. Anything are bigger than those. Despite authoritative the best music players, Apple accomplish decidedly afflicted headphones. Their in-ear ones are absolutely acceptable though, just a bit added expensive.

If anyone is still looking for a good set, comparable in quality to the Bose, or Klipsch, Amazon has V-Moda remixes in several colors, on sale for $42.95, from $79.99, they have the mic and remote for the iPhone.

I know what you mean. People hear different things and like different things. It's one's prerogative to purchase the best for them.
