Gotta be thankful when your branding is strong that you can can sell a moldy loaf of bread for a premium.

I doubt that customers feel that way. Otherwise, they would have not been buying Apple products. :D

There is of course the old saying 'there's none so blind as those who will not see'.

Milked? Now that's a real hoot. Apple manufacturing and selling roughly 600,000 phones per day, everyday of the year on average, to people who willingly open their wallets, indicates otherwise.

Apple's products may be too expensive for you. And that's OK. There are plenty of other phone manufacturers out there.

It indicates that people are opening their wallets and nothing else. One might conclude the world is full of stupid people, one might conclude the world is full of savvy people.

It's not a case of whether Apple products are expensive to me (though I have got enough of them). It's a fact that just about every review you see on the iPhone comments about their eye watering price, so it would appear I'm in good company.

No, it indicates several hundred million people see good value in the Apple products they purchase. Year after year, after year.

I have no problem with you not feeling the same, and needing to purchase phones/computers from a different manufacturer.

Please cite your evidence which proves your assertion - note I say evidence not 'opinion'.

Sorry, I'm not able to ask 200+ million people if they see good value in the Apple products they purchase. However, since the majority are repeat customers, and there are plenty of products from other manufacturers available for purchase if they didn't like the value proposition Apple offers, I'll go with my assertion.

Again, it's ok for you to feel differently.

Or how about Sennheiser Momentum 2.0, nothing beats Sennheiser for sound quality.

Sennheiser Momentums are known for their v-shape sounds. They are good if you like that sound signature. Everyone is different when it comes to this.

I had some Momentum IEMs and they were great/fun except my ears start fatiguing after listening for a few hours.

Coca-Cola... just goes to show you how stupid people are. Selling high sugar drinks with high self life just for profit.

Nothing good about this brand.

Fair enough, everyone is different, the only thing that bugs me is when it gets hot my ears sweat like I've poured water down them, other than that fantastic!

A Coke isn’t going to kill you. Everything in moderation, you know?

you might want to look at open back (or semi open back) headphones. Closed back will do that to ya, especially the Momentums. The cushion is probably most important though. Velour will not sweat as much.

So no evidence then, simply your opinion dressed up and presented as authoritative fact. Hmm!

The assertion is borne of common sense. In that it seems that Apple wouldn’t be a 1T company if customers bought their products because they were the best of the worst.

It doesn’t even matter on the “evidence”, because all the evidence is in the recent explosive growth of the company. If you sleep better at night thinking you have an edge on 200M Apple customers (“sheep”), I am not going to dissuade you.

If Apple is running head for its 6th year, they gotta be doing something right.

This is both funny and ironic to me since I remember a time in the recent past where people where trying to spread the word about Apple and make people abandon Windows and move over to MacOS.

TBH, a lot of that is due to lack of competition. Your only other option is Android. And we know how bad that is...(except if you care 0 about privacy). Compare to the car market where each country has like 2-3 brands... now this is options. iPhones or Android is very limited for options. Even back in the Nokia days there were more options with Samsung, SonyEriccson, Motorola, Siemens.
