Apple Education Store (UK) Apple Care Included?

Hi there,

I bought my macbook a few years ago from the UK Apple Education store and along with the discount I received (15% HE) I also got 3 years of apple care for no extra cost, a friend of mine is looking to buy a mac and I'm advising them, I was just wondering if buying a mac through the education store still provides 3 years of apple care when buying a mac,

I just bought mine through the education store (US) and Apple care was extra.

I don't think* anything has changed with the UK HE store purchases - you get a 3 year warranty - you can pay a little extra for 3 years telephone support if you want.


*I've not checked as I'm not a student, but it was the case last year when my friend got a MBP
