Apple Employee Steve Locker spotted with iPhone 7?

They do seem to be over. I remember not that long ago when this forum would positively light up over a blurry picture of a shipping carton in an elevator.
Today we have a crisp selfie of an actual phone in an elevator and nobody cares. 27 comments so far.

Which it seems to have failed at.
There are many reasons for that. "Back in the days" people didn't take a lot of effort to fake photo's and create full 3D models. Nowadays people can't distinguish a real leak from a fake one anymore and they get overloaded with fakes. Also, the iPhone 7 will just be an iPhone 6/6S with a bigger camera and two antenna bands removed, so there is no real excitement to see what it really looks like (just cover the two antenna lines with your finger and you're there).
And this is such an obvious fake that it's not that strange that it doesn't generate hype.
I don't know that they are gone forever per se, but they certainly have leveled as of late. But with reason I suppose. Apple, with all of its billions of dollars in the bank and the ability to hire the finest innovators and designers in the world, are bringing us the exact same design for a 3rd straight year? Changing the antenna band and leaving the overall size exactly the same is hardly a new design.
Many of us are not excited because based on the leaks, there is nothing to be excited about. We hear whispers of an all glass casing, edge to edge display, OLED screen with remarkable resolution, lack of physical home button, true wireless charging not needing a pad, dual speakers, etc......only to be told 2017 at the earliest.
I have upgraded to every iphone to this point, on launch day, because I craved having the best available iphone out there. It was like Christmas in June, then September, for 8 straight years. This year, I will not upgrade, and it saddens me. But it is purely out of choice, and my lack of desire to give Apple a thousand dollars for re-gift wrapped 6/6S.
Pretty sure if he was Apple wouldn't be too happy with one of their employees posting BDSM porn style photos or pictures of masterbation toys near their privates like this guy does. Just a hunch though...
