Rap music is just simply Crap Beats1 plays basically Crap music before it was Crap and few other genres now it's just like every other boring FM Dial stations. As for those curated radio stations like Pandora did not care once Apple Music came out but I was pissed how much less iTunes Radio became when Apple Music came out and how Apple never bothered updating it the worse part was it always playing the same songs. What pissed me off more was Apple Music was not part of iTunes Match but now I do not regret that I subscribed to Apple Music since iTunes Match aka iTunes Music Cloud has become completely useless.

I use iTunes Radio all of the time. Very disappointed to hear about this, as Beats 1 just doesn't seem to play the sort of music I'm interested in hearing.

Also, one of the main reasons I subscribed to iTunes Match was so I could listen to iTunes Radio ad-free. I don't consider that a "perk," but rather an integral part of the Match service.
Yes. Back to Pandora for me then.

I never used AM. Or any other streaming service for that matter. I buy my music and locally store to listnen where and whenever. This is pretty much shooting themselves in the foot before the service gets off the ground.

Was never going going to get off ground it died once it was given birth Apple never bothered improving it.

Too lazy to see if Pandora is publicly traded (doubt it is.) But if so, investors are happy.

Back to Pandora!

Time to delete Apple Music from my phone. Oh wait.

Bad news for music industry too. This comes preloaded on iPhones and gets music in the hands of the masses without downloading an add on app. Taylor Swift does not approve.

Can't remember the last time I listened to iTunes Radio or Beats 1 so this makes spending $10 a month even less appealing. Back to Pandora!

I paid for iTunes Match solely to listen to iTunes Radio ad-free. And because of iTunes Radio, I have found new artists whose albums I've then gone ahead and purchased on iTunes. That will no longer happen.

Not cool, Apple.

I never bought Match but I did find a lot of songs and artists on iTunes Radio that I wouldn't have looked for myself. To add to that, iTunes Radio was the only one to offer the top 50 tracks (granted, just on iTunes) to stream. I'm gonna bounce between Pandora and Spotify now.

Something tells me most of the people in this thread don't realize Beats 1 has a schedule, with different shows featuring different genres.

I've discovered some amazing non-rap music from Beats 1.

Something tells me most people in this forum just complain about every single possible thing they can and think every single thing is just the worst.

This place as become completely overrun by trolls.

I bought the iTunes match for this "perk" I usually end up buying music while listening, guess that won't be happening as I'll be canceling itunes match because I hate how the whole icloud thing works anyway, I was somewhere without wifi and couldn't play music that I had previously purchased on the same device while listening to an Apple music station.

I'm a fan of the more competitors the better. I was kind of excited for this hoping that one day I could find a streaming service I would like. I have yet to, so I stick with the tried and true method.

Oh no, the end of free music. If this trend carries on I will have to pay for my shopping at the supermarket. Bloody producers, wanting money for their work. That is just outrageous!!!

I'm a paid member of Apple Music and I actually didn't know that iTunes radio still existed, as it did pre apple music. I would love to have all the radio stations I made.

Beats1 'music' is hideous. I use iTunes Match as another form of backup and frequently use the stations I have created. As for Beats 1 well I would rather listen to my parents make out than the ghetto crap they play on that waste of a station.
TMI Dude!

Apple Music subscription lol... what a joke!! Spotify, iHeart, Rdio, Google music, Pandora...list goes on.. I don't give a crap about the POS Apple Music..

This is a pretty bad move for those who have iTunes Match. It was a nice bonus to be able to listen to radio stations with no ads. Now theres no bonus. Those using iTunes Match might as well use Google music since it's free.
