Since the new Apple Watch and iPad Air were already announced, I have a feeling Apple is just going to talk about 5G for a looong time.

I mean what else fits the "speed" part? Either 5G or A14 (and Apple already spoiled the A14 performance with the iPad Air announcement). So 5G is left.

Unless Apple got the A14X or whatever ready for the iPad Pros or AS Macs, but unlikely.

It will be a highly produced boring keynote.

A completely wireless iPhone would be cool. Perhaps a new Mac mini Pro could have the wireless charger built-in, placing the phone on the mini to charge and transfer data if they use some kind of close-proximity fast WiFi transfer.

It would be cool to take a picture and everything is in focus. No distance effects. When the eye surveys a scene everything the eye looks at is in focus. It would be like a hyper-realistic painting.

What are you guys thinking? Pre-orders starting this Friday the 16th for a 23rd launch? Or is there a chance they preorder after the event for a release this Friday?

It could also be a more responsive camera system. Faster to launch, faster burst rate, etc.

I hope they interject a little “fun” into the presentation. It’s been pretty dry since they’ve haven’t been live.
So far, Craig seems to be the only fun guy, and things were dry (ie well rehearsed and reading the teleprompter) for the rest (including Cook). But I guess that’s the nature of involving more people into the keynote instead of just seeing one or two of the same people all the time.

I'll wait for the periscope camera model. :p
I have a feeling that Apple will prefer the method of high MP sensors coupled with machine learning to achieve that vs using periscope. Periscope tech is nifty, but the hardware takes more space, and only for a single purpose. Google has shown that software + machine learning can do an okay job as well. Coupled with the high megapixel cameras, IMO the software/machine learning route would probably be the more scalable solution.

Pre-orders this Friday/launch the 23rd. I just hope for those of us getting a 12 pro max that might be delayed until November, that we can still place our orders on the 16th!
