I think this really goes to show that there's really not much more you can do to make phone upgrades exciting every year. Like yeah, the new camera button is cool, and I like the color gradient feature for pictures, but not even close to enough for me to part with my 15 Pro Max.

The Watch 10 is the true upgrade this year.

Can you tell at what time the new iPhone was introduced?

Wait why did they stick a mic INSIDE the case? What good is it doing tucked in behind the charging coil?

Not even done yet and I’m thinking we’re doing better off than expected or rumored… giddy up!

This does feel like a move to streamline / save costs this year. Reducing the material choices/sizes on the Watch, minimal changes to the iPhones (mostly software) and AirPods Max.
I didn't pay much attention to the Watch, but I actually haven't found the Watch differentiation to be confusing for the most part. Wasn't it just SE, Series (medium vs. large display), Ultra? I think there is good reason for the material differences and size differences for a Watch because those are items people wear and generally would like to have more options to choose from for those purposes. It's in the jewelry line of things.

I don't think an iPhone or AirPods are in that line, no?

Let me just update my remarks and say that people do care about how jewelry look, so the range of material, sizes, and various types of bands are a plus. It's not confusing to navigate any of that because functionally those differences mostly don't matter. They matter along the lines of aesthetics (although a small exception are the types of bands in which both aesthetics and function do count).

An iPhone, iPad, AirPods, Mac, etc. don't function that way aesthetically.

Yeah, my iPhone 15 Pro Max is going to be good for the upcoming 5 years. I’m not a photographer so I’m not missing out on anything new.

For everyday shooting from non photo experts here. Do you guys set it the highest for both photo and filming? Or do you guys bring it down to something like Video 1080p 60fps and photos 12mp?
Set to highest. I can downmix to something smaller later if I need to.
