Oh dear. They may just have me with this HomePod thing. The trials and tribulations of being someone who sold AAPL right at the bottom of the market in 2002......in the meantime, please. no. notch. It's one thing on a phone over half an inch and nothing but carrier and signal information next to it, quite another on the top of a full-size display.

I see that many people don’t understand the voice plan. It’s not something that existing subscribers have to pay for. It’s for non subscribers to access Apple Music with their voice only. Basically a bare bones AM plan that can only play stuff for you. No downloads, no library, etc. etc.
With that said, it’s probably a stupid idea.

If this means we can't use voice for Siri for music without subscribing to the voice plan, I would be initially disappointed, before realizing it doesn't even work at all now for free...
