Hey, Apple keynotes always make for a good drinking game.

Used to be that people would post Bingo cards like this before every one.

Trouble is, Cook uses "incredible" or "incredibly" so much, it's no longer worth any points :D

Ive is just as predictable.

Personally, I'd like to see a new female spokesperson instead of these pompous old farts in their "aren't we cool" jeans and sneakers.

This is a very good point...

Apple are all about being modern and inclusive, but their keynotes are very male-dominated.

I think they try to hard to be something they're not and it shows. We don't need femail spokesperson as much as someone who can evoke more sincere presentation.

Steve Jobs had charisma and was able to hold a commanding presence during these media events. The execs are still trying to capture that same ethos, but yet are failing because they're not Jobs.

except there's no gifts.. HAHA

You don't think Tim Cook is sincere? Do you think Steve Jobs always was?

I hope we see Angela on stage. IMO Phil Schiller is the wrong person to be selling this watch to people. Let Tim and Angela (and perhaps Jony or someone else by video) sell it. If Apple has new Macs to announce Phil can be on stage for that.

I agree, she will be a breath of fresh air. apple can put training wheels on her to start, then I bet she will excel more and more later on.

Any sports fans here?

This is up there with Lebron's 'The Decision' special that aired live on ESPN.

'I'm going to take my talents to Miami Beach'

Looking forward for Tim Cook to kill it and offer spectacular prices for the Apple Watch. Just watch folks!

I mean......if you are going to quote something quote it right.....its SOUTH BEACH

I'm still debating skipping a class tomorrow to watch it. I haven't been able to watch an event live (and all the way through) since WWDC 2014. My anticipation for this event is probably the highest it's ever been. :)

I've never skipped anything to watch one, but I've NEVER let anything make me miss one either!
I usually follow a live blog (MR) & read the info as it comes in, then watch the full event on Apple in the evening after I get home.

Well got my sleeping out the way and I've awoken to the special event channel manifesting on my  TV. I'm ready. Not gonna be one of the first to buy but I will read every blog and watch the reviews. I have very little doubt that I'd skip the  Watch and I'm really leaning toward the SS rather than Sport. I have no problem saving up if the SS is a little higher than expected. I won't cut myself short for this.

I'm counting down the minutes until it starts, then I'm on MR until about 3, then I catch what I can, if it's still live. I usually watch the whole event by the end of the day.

I had shown my wife the countdown clock and I could hardly tell if she was rolling her eyes because she was shaking her head. Most likely both though.

My husband has already given up on the 'why do you need one' gambit and moved on to saying (resignedly), 'so which one are you getting'. I was just impressed he actually KNEW there was an Apple event today! (Baby steps, just tiny ones)

I truly enjoy these new-product introductions, and LOVE that Apple both keeps us guessing, and then delivers products worthy of our attention and amusement.

iPhone, iPad and now Apple Watch are all products that simply couldn't have existed two years before their introduction, at any price.

We live in a golden age, truly.

Yes I look forward to the release of new Apple products and yes even just their announcements like a Holiday. I have been counting down the days till this Keynote since it was announced. Even took the day off to enjoy it!

We live in a golden age, truly.

I had a long laugh-out-loud at myself yesterday. I was standing in my socks and pants, balancing a ruler and a cut-out picture of an Apple Watch on my wrist while I tried to take a photograph of it with my iPhone. I realised how ridiculous the whole thing was and I couldn't stop laughing.

We should remember how phenominally privileged we are that we're worrying about such incredible luxuries.

And this is the part where we ask ourselves what the F did I just watch, we grab our phone, tablet or computer and head to forums to discuss with others and argue over details of the event, say things like "they should have done this", "why didn't they do that..." or the general "that was so disappointing"

Yet on April 24th we will all be waiting in line (or at home waiting for our pre-order to arrive).

Including the xmas morning disappointment once all of the surprises are over and you did not get exactly what you wanted.
