This could be problematic if you have contact pictures synched from somewhere, e.g. from Google. When one of your friends changes their picture, you might have no clue who it is. For example, pictures in my current contact list include:

  • A dog
  • A kangaroo
  • A drawing of Yahtzee from Zero Punctuation
  • An axe
  • A Star Trek logo
  • A Diablo logo
  • A cartoon character of some sort

While some of my friends use photos of themselves, a lot of them don't. If the seven friends above all changed their pictures then I'd be completely lost.

I'm more interested in what looks from the sketch to be multiple user accounts on an iDevice. THAT would be really useful.

Actually, I am pretty sure that it was "My voice is my passport. Verify me."

That was the problem in the movie. How do you get someone to casually say "passport."

"my voice is my password" it was a feature in Mac OS 9. You could log in to your account by saying that phrase into the microphone.

you are talking about a movie.

Obviously this wouldn't stop your family and friends from accessing your phone, but so long as you're only concerned with keeping out strangers this could be a really nifty solution.

Oh, and this reminds me that I need to add more photos to my contacts list.
