Here's a photo of Schiller presenting the iMacs at the keynote.

Phil Schiller looks quite dapper. They seems to be his clothing of choice. Still a very casual relaxed look.

on a sidenote...
sparkleytone banned hostmasks preventing a LOT of people from getting into the room. (ie *~MRIrc@*.client.comcast.net)
you have people who disregarded rules to thank for that.

Oh well, lots of people last night...and too many n00bs hehe.

where are the iPod hidden features?

Didn't that Newsweek article a few weeks ago mention some features of the 4g iPod that were going to be announced later? I expect them to be announced today. Anyone know if Apple's got anything else in the works as far as announcements go this week?

My god I've never had Quicktime suck as bad as it is while trying to watch the Paris Expo feed.

Sound keeps skipping, or fading out totally. Not to mention the video sucking about 30x as bad as the sound.

There must be alot of people trying to watch the stream.

Or maybe it's because I'm on an XP machine.

5GB iPod Mini?

Did anyone notice that in the begining of the keynote when Phill was going over the iPod and its success he said, "We have the iPod Mini, it has a 5 gigabyte hard drive , and comes in 5 colors"?

I went back a couple times to make sure he said 5 gigabyte and he did, check it out yourself.

Very interesting because Creative just released the Carbon which is directly aimed at the Mini and the Carbon has a 5gb hard drive. I'm thinking Apple may upgrade the Mini to 5gb to stay ahead of the competition.

What do you think?

I noticed that too. At first I couldn't remember what the mini had, then I checked to make sure it was still 4 gigs. I wouldn't think Phil would just make a mistake like that so I think the mini's are getting another gig.
