Paying 5-6% for payment processing alone is absurdly high for a company like Apple. That‘d be, again, at least a 100% margin. At least in Europe - where Apple is, I believe, limiting payment cards for Apple ID to domestic cards.

But to be fair, Apple provides a bit more than just payment processing (but IMO nowhere near 15%, let alone 30% of „reasonable value“ - unless you factor in „access to customer base“ and such).

Under current legislation, the assumption that Apple were one, can and will be contested in court, I suppose.
