Apple Fitness+ today expanded to 28 new markets in the service's largest international rollout since launch, accompanied by new language dubbing and a K-Pop music genre.

The service today became available in Norway, Poland, the Philippines, Sweden, Vietnam, Chile, Hong Kong, India, the Netherlands, Singapore, Taiwan, and additional regions, with Japan scheduled to follow early next year. The expansion increases total availability to 49 countries, with a full list available at the bottom of Apple's press release.

Hundreds of sessions are initially available with digitally generated voice dubbing in Spanish and German, with Japanese set to be added when the service launches in Japan. New dubbed episodes will be released weekly across all supported regions.

The new dubbing system uses a generated voice modeled on each of the 28 Fitness+ trainers' real voices. Users will be able to switch audio tracks after starting a session or set a preferred language in the Fitness app, which will automatically default to the dubbed version when available. Apple has not previously offered dubbed workout content on Fitness+, instead relying on subtitles for non-English markets since the service launched in 2020.

Apple is also adding a new K-Pop music genre to the service, which will be available across workout types. The new category joins existing genres such as Upbeat Anthems, Latest Hits, Hip-Hop/R&B, and Latin Grooves.

Prior to today, Fitness+ was already available in Australia, Austria, Brazil, Canada, Colombia, France, Germany, Indonesia, Ireland, Italy, Malaysia, Mexico, New Zealand, Portugal, Russia, Saudi Arabia, Spain, Switzerland, the UAE, the UK, and the U.S.

Well, 17:54 and not available in NL or BE yet, nor Apple One Premium package online

I guess the day only starts when they wake up in the US and press the button
Fitness+ was available to me this morning in NL. I haven't seen Apple One Premium yet (hope that will come soon)

also to me, but I have new devices and no 3 months of trial, AND Apple told me the service is not yet active, according to this:

on top of it, the fitness page features Apple One comment about bundling, and no bundle yet in NL or BE. I think it comes at 19h.

It should be in Entertainment section of apple.com/nl and is not present there yet. They only put the fitness+ page online, but in phantom mode...

In Poland available ca. 7am today across all devices for me (also ATV4k for instance - autodownloaded in the middle of top bar, like U2 album😉). In Poland not included in Apple One bundle

Has anyone else been able to get past the annoying instructor introductions and their fake sign language gesturing? I just cant...

The newly localised Fitness+ pages are filled with references to the service being available bundled with Apple One, with links which lead to the Apple One page with no such bundle available. I would’ve assumed Apple One Premier would come out at the same time just as it did last time they rolled out Fitness+ to new countries, but it seems not?

I checked the new audio dubs for Spanish but… They sound nice but expected a Spain variation too, not just with a Latin American accent 🙁

What we really need is the ability to play our own music during a workout. Fitness+ biggest problem is a lack of content, and having forced playlists greatly reduces even that. Choosing your own music would more than double what's available at basically no cost to them.

Because K-Pop workouts will never, ever, be watched in my home....

Happy to see that it is finally available in my country. Wish services are made available globally as soon as possible. Now waiting for AppleCare One to be available in my country.

I’m in Argentina and today December 16th it is still not available…
My bad.. it is available but directly from fitness app. I was looking for it as an Apple one bundle option but this doesn’t exist. What is surprising is the price.. 2.99 usd per month or 24.99 usd an year. So much cheaper than US

Of course it's cheaper - service prices are aligned with local purchasing power.

I tried one of the free sessions. Initial thoughts; really like the Apple Watch integration (it’s rather impressive) and the trainer felt a bit “too smiley” for my grumpy Nordic taste.

Next week I will definitely start a trial month to try it properly.

So looks like they're keeping Apple One Premium from these markets. Very disappointing, and also no clue as to the why.

Well, that did not ”just work”.

It was impossible to start free month from the ATV or connected watch or phone all ended up with

Then when I am started the trial successfully from fitness app on the phone, the videos refused to play on the AppleTV:

Luckily after restarting the ATV I was able to start my trial journey…
