Can anyone help me understand ? If digitally generated voice dubbing comes in Spanish and German what will be used in other new markets ? English voice plus national subtitles ?

Just got one of the Life Rowers to add to my Fitness+ Workouts.
Excellent. Josh, Anya and Bakari are all great instructors. Anya is a a bit of an energizer bunny however, so I tend to stick with Josh on mornings where I don't feel like 30 all-outs in 30 minutes!

I've heard that some people are put off by their Disneyesque smiles, but I quite like starting my day with their fun positive energy.

Apple: We have to discontinue the iPhone Mini and Airs because they're not selling in massive volumes, otherwise we'll go out of business.

Also Apple: We will continue spending on localizing a service most people don't know or care exists.

Hypothesis: Apple views the iPhone as a cash cow to extract maximum profit from the market, while services are seen as an investment to create more future profit.
I mean, it’s a AI generated voice, so I don’t know why wouldn’t they release it in other countries

"The new dubbing system uses a generated voice modeled on each of the 28 Fitness+ trainers' real voices"

The term digital voice dubbing....just say AI. It's autogenerated ai based off the persons's voice, which is something arc raiders also does, and recognizes as AI.

So auto dubbed after so many years of waiting. I hope I can choose english because I won’t tolerate a generated norwegian voice just because I happen to live in Norway…

Good news! Please expand also Apple One Premier to all these countries. I have to pay separately for the Family Plan and additionally for 2TB. Now the third subscription for Apple Fitness Plus.

Didnt someone write a story about how Apple fitness was going badly and everyone on a tech blog (hardly the target market) waded in on how it was another Apple failure etc.

Its almost as if a lot of rumours are just that.. rumours...

Forks found in kitchen drawer. More news at eight.

Good. I'm gonna use it in English, but I'm glad that there are options. More importantly, I'm glad it finally is available in my country of residence.

nice, but again Thailand hasn’t made it. Apple has rolled it out to almost all other ASEAN countries. Disappointing :(

Glad to see that it is expanding to many more countries including mine. Don't think I will subscribe but still happy to see it in my region.

So… More AI slop. Plus the dialogues are probably machine-translated as well, so expect awkwardness and weirdly distracting messages while you exercise.

I mean, they have more money than God, but why pay voice actors anyway?
