Was wondering if anyone realized that all the Folio cases are defective. When the Folio flap is flipped back during a phone call, the bottom magnet causes the microphone to become distorted. You can test this for yourself when making a video and flipping the case back and forth. Apple said their engineers are notified of this issue, but no plans have come out on a fix yet. I first realized this after about a week of numerous complaints that my phone calls sound very muffled and distorted.

There is another thread on this, as well as an Apple support discussion that you can Google....

If you dont want to hold it with the rear mic unblocked you need to go to gen/accessibility/phone noise cancellation and turn it off according to the apple chat.

Not sure I’d call that defective.
