Western companies shouldn't be helping prop up communist regimes like the Chinese government. Every time one of them bows to a communist demand we all lose. Let's start telling them to free Tibet too.

Probably they followed the English model of brutal suppression of the natives. That still doesn’t preclude the Chinese need to be booted out of Tibet. If you don’t agree with American policy then you’re welcome to boycott USA products and services, starting with Apple.

So you don't have a problem with China occupying Tibet nor with China concentration camps for Tibetans? All because America occupies Hawai'i.

I think it’s sad and cruel how China treats Tibet and its people. But it’s naive to think that they would give Tibet up and release it into independence. There is no way China would let any other country interfere with its politics. They feel strong now. They were treated badly by western powers and Japan for 200 years. They had to give up land for western colonies for 100 years and are so proud they got it back. They don’t want to be weak ever again. You need to step back to see the big picture why something is the way it is.
