Speaking of whom, did that mustache comb ever turn up?

I used to think such questions were stupid and enigmatic myself, but then I watched as my husband rose from tech support to manager to CIO. Then, I finally understood every question that seemed to hold no purpose before.
The argument isn't about being ungrateful it's about a distinct change to the company. Yes, a company doesn't owe a Christmas present, but it's Apple! The company was built on being different and not being like everyone else. This gift is a perfect example of how far Apple has fallen. They're no better than any other retailer and that's a shame. Apple retail deserves better. Those people work their butts off and largely in a thankless role. Do better next time Apple and actually show some gratitude for a huge part of your company and maybe prove to us that you haven't completely lost what made you great in the first place.
Expect an AR'd Christmas Carol as charity to fill some empty placesDisgusting. Record setting profits in a record setting year, and the wealthiest company on the planet shuns its lowest yet most loyal employees.
I love Apple products, but seems like every year I hate the company itself more and more.

Foot soldiers never reap rewards. In any business anywhere. Lots of entitled people here.
This is the working world. Better get used to it.
Ya same here. We had company Christmas parties and any prizes were fundraised throughout the year. This year with hardly any fundraising because morale is down I doubt our Christmas party will have prizes and stuff. Just food I’m guessing which is fine with me.Yeah... I cannot recall ever working for a company (and I've worked for some very large companies in white-collar jobs) where the company gave me Christmas presents.
I've had managers give me a small gift out of their own money, that sort of deal. Exchanged gifts in Secret Santa type deals at work... but, the COMPANY handing out gifts?
Nope.
I'm sure the Apple store employees would prefer a cash bonus instead of a $2 t-shirt.
You have no idea. I have relatives that worked there for about 10 years. Most seniors are gone. its all preppy inexperienced and immigrants controlling it now.Expect an AR'd Christmas Carol as charity to fill some empty places
(for employees that can afford an AR device...)
