Apple Hardware Diagnostics

Forgive me this question has been asked and answered, but I did a search and couldn't come up with anything useful.

I have a 2008 Mac Pro that I bought used which did not come with its original install discs. I want to be able to run Apple Hardware Diagnostics if possible. I am running a full installation of Lion. Is it possible for me to run the Apple Hardware Diagnostics, or would I need to find a set of original install discs for my model Mac Pro?
