Apple has been saying 3-4 weeks for 6+ shipping for a week now...

Does that mean it will remain 3-4 weeks from the point of ordering now ? is this the maximum it wil go?

Based on past launch's that's a very broad window based on worst case scenario. odds are your phone will be there sooner - but you may not see an update until the inventory is there to update the system.

In the past it hasn't counted down by week to when you get your phone.
